Edwin A. Villafañe is an associate in the Real Estate and Financial Transactions Division. His main areas of practice include residential lending, loan modifications, loss mitigation, short sales, and foreclosure defense.
Mr. Villafañe obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Boston College in 1999, and a Juris Doctor and Civil Law Certificate from Tulane University Law School in 2002.
He is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Mr. Villafañe is a member of The Florida Bar, Puerto Rico Bar, American Bar Association, and Federal Bar Association. He is fluent in Spanish.
